A fixed pedestal is a compact drawer unit that is attached directly underneath an office desk or workstation. It provides convenient storage for stationery, personal belongings and files without taking up additional floor space. Unlike a mobile pedestal, it does not have castors and is designed to remain secured to the desk.
Fixed pedestals are typically screwed or fixed to the underside and/or frame of the desk during assembly. Depending on the model, they can often be positioned on either the left or right side of a straight desk, return or corner workstation.
